PRACTICE PERFORMANCE, MEASURED

You mastered dentistry, nobody taught you how to run a business.

32 Ventures runs benchmarked financial and operational audits for early-career practice owners, every gap measured against industry standards, every fix ranked by what it's worth in dollars.

WHO_THIS_IS_FOR

Built for the first five years of ownership.

The big dental-AI companies sell to insurers and DSOs. Practice consultants chase established, high-collection offices. If you bought or started a practice in the last few years, nobody is looking at your numbers except you, at 11pm, unsure what "good" even looks like.

YOU_OWN_IT

The production is there. The profit isn't.

You're busy every day, yet overhead eats more than it should and take-home doesn't match the effort. The audit shows exactly which expense and revenue lines are off benchmark.

YOU_INHERITED_IT

You bought systems you've never questioned.

The fee schedule, the PPO contracts, the recall process, all inherited from the seller. The audit tells you which ones are quietly costing you six figures.

YOU'RE_PLANNING

You want to grow on evidence, not guesswork.

Associate? Second location? Dropping a PPO? The audit gives you the baseline numbers those decisions should actually be made from.

THE_AUDIT

The Practice Financial Health Audit

A 30-day engagement. You send reports your software already produces, and we return a benchmarked, plain-English picture of the practice and a ranked plan. No software to install, no staff disruption, no year-long consulting contract.

01

Benchmark scorecard

Twelve core metrics: collections ratio, overhead, staff/lab/supply costs, AR aging, case acceptance, and hygiene health, each scored against industry benchmarks.

02

Dollar-ranked opportunities

Every gap converted to estimated annual dollars and ranked, so you know whether the collections gap or the case-acceptance gap deserves your attention first.

03

60-minute debrief

We walk through the report together, clinician to clinician, and agree on your top two priorities: each with one owner, one weekly habit, one number to watch.

04

90-day re-measure

Same scorecard, same benchmarks, ninety days later, so you know whether the needle actually moved, not whether it felt like it did.

HOW_IT_WORKS

Four steps. Thirty days.

Everything runs off reports your practice management system and bookkeeper already generate.

Intro call

Twenty minutes. Your goals, your frustrations, and whether the audit is actually the right fit. If it isn't, I'll say so.

Data intake

A simple checklist: P&L, production and AR reports, a few numbers from your PMS. Your software already generates these, and pulling them usually takes under an hour.

Analysis

Your numbers, benchmarked line by line. Every gap quantified in estimated annual dollars, every finding written in plain English.

Debrief & plan

The full report, a 60-minute working session, and a 90-day re-measure to verify the results, not just promise them.

WHY_32_VENTURES

Dentistry taught us occlusion. Nobody covered overhead.

I am a Class of 2027 DDS Candidate at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry pursuing an AEGD/GPR focused on surgery and endodontics. I have a background in business management and analytics through leadership of non-profit organizations like the SHAC Clinic, DYOR, and UNC Smile Fest.

I watched brilliant clinicians, classmates' families, attendings, mentors, struggle with the same problems: insurance reimbursement that shrinks every year, overhead that creeps up unnoticed, and financial reports nobody ever taught us to read.

32 Ventures is the firm I wish existed for every dentist signing a practice loan: someone who understands the clinical workflow behind every line item, benchmarks your numbers honestly, and tells you in dollars what to fix first. No enterprise sales team, no year-long retainer trap, an audit, a plan, and a re-measure to prove it worked.

The name comes from the 32 teeth we're trained to care for. The mission is to make sure the practices caring for them are financially healthy too.
